Was it a disc herniation? I&#39;m quite well versed in the area. I had a 2 level cervical fusion almost 8 years ago and one of the screws broke, one level didn&#39;t fuse, etc.... I&#39;ll be on meds forever and just trying to get as much use out of my remaining discs before more surgery. Yes, it does suck and it is debilitating. An MRI is needed instead of xray to determine if the discs are wonky. It was a cruise, so I didn&#39;t get to spend much time in either place. I loved Progreso - people complained that it is &quot;ugly&quot; because it&#39;s on the gulf...I think people expect Caribbean waters all over Mexico. I thought it was a great little town with a nice, wide beach. I&#39;d love to go back.
