Enanitos Toreros- Bull Fighting Little People

I saw this very large poster on the bull ring this morning. I really don't know what to say about this, I'm kind of speechless. And confused. And disturbed. And amused, is that wrong?

Since I'm always looking out for my readers, I thought I would save you the 100 peso entrance fee, so here's a video of the famous "Enanitos Toreros de Mexico".

Oh darn, look at the date, I'm washing my hair on the 8th! The little people will have to torture the bulls without me.

Hi, new commenter/reader! Just discovered your blog through that blog award thingy and am enjoying it. Hubby and I made our first trip to Cancun in December and loved it. We're from Michigan and love Canada too, so reading your blog is like the best of both worlds. LOL. Thanks for sharing your life. :)

Heather- Ugh, bull fighting, such a horrible way to "entertain" people. I would much rather watch a bull rider and even then I feel bad for the bull!

Mrs.Bug- Hello and welcome! Thanks so much for your kind words. I know Michigan very well, I grew up in Windsor, right on the border, so I know just how COLD you are right now, lol! Glad to have you here, hope to hear from y ou again. :)

mare ad mare- Apparently yes, they do indeed provide horizontally challenged bulls too, haha!

On Mexican Time- I'm with you, bull fighting is awful, terrible, a horrible form of "fun" for the masses. And oh honey, you ain't seen nothing yet, lol!

That is the most ridiculous thing I've seen (today). Man, I love Mexico!

Not such a fan of bull-fighting, though...but I get that in some places it's got a lot of cultural significance.

In my hometown, we've got the rodeo going on - I can't stand to watch bullriding, or when they do the calf rope and catch the little baby and throw it on the ground. I think that's how they get such angry bulls for the riding : )

Enano. Sounds like more like the second definition to me...having a whale of a good time! I would love to get a group together and head on over for this oh so Mexican event. Do you think they toss each other too? What a hoot. Should we do a blogger thing and all meet up for it! LOL!

The bullfight in Cancun is a must for my husband, my son, and me. Last time as part of the pre-bull fight entertainment, I caught a goat!! So much fun, we will be going again!!
